Lida friluftsgård, Sweden

Lida has origins dating back to the 1600s: as early as 1642, there was a small farm called Lidatorpet.  Lida Outdoor Center is currently a facility for outdoor activities and offers a variety of different activities. The main building was designed between 1942 and 1943 by architect Ralph Erskine. The construction was carried out using traditional timber techniques and was completed in 1946. In 2006, Erskine’s main building was expanded with a modern-style addition for the erestaurant. Our idea was to relate to the original timber technique, in a modern way. The façade's rib framework reflects the main building's traditional timber technique in its scale and rustic expression. The color scheme remains the same as that of the original building.  -Completed 2006 Cooperation Scheiwiller Svenssons Arkitektkontor

Restaurant Storstad, Stockholm Sweden

The interior concept draws inspiration from the timeless charm of a classic French bistro. The owners of the bar and restaurant envisioned a space that exudes a local, enduring atmosphere—a welcoming spot where patrons can relax and socialize. "A place with the feeling that it has been there for decades". To achieve this and open up the premises, we demolished all walls and removed all surface conditions to the foundation and selected traditional materials like mahogany wood, white classic tiles, and brass accents, lending Storstad an elegant, vintage feel. These elements are complemented by sensual minimalistic details, creating a refined environment that keeps guests present and engaged in the moment. - Completed

Olssons skor, Stockholm Sweden

Next to Storstad is Olssons Skor, an intimate little venue where you can experience something with that little extra touch. The atmosphere hovers between a bar and a nightclub, creating a unique vibe. The interior design is inspired, among other places, by smaller bar clubs in Barcelona, Paris, and New York; elements that have been carefully incorporated to craft a seductive and inspiring environment. The neon sign, which is original from the 1940s-1950s, has become a distinctive brand for the place. - Completed
